The historic train depot is home to City Hall and the Police Department. The south wing of the depot was constructed in 1856. The north wing was constructed in 1914. In 2008 the Georgia Department of Transportation awarded the city a transportation enhancement project to renovate the exterior of the building. Total cost is estimated at $294,000 with the city responsible for $58,800. |
